We clad and roof schools for the builders who deliver them: new secondary and technical colleges for the Department for Education, and sport and arts buildings for independent schools.
Delivered on schools: metal roofing (Whyalla, Morialta, Findon, Scotch) · standing seam cladding (Findon) · cladding on prefabricated frames (Morialta, Whyalla) · fibre cement and aluminium cladding (Scotch, UniSA) · GRC feature modules (Scotch) · plant screens, louvres and battens (Findon) · aluminium canopies (Whyalla, Morialta)
Term dates do not move. On Morialta Secondary College we controlled the cladding supply and fabricated all the support framing off site, then installed it as prefabricated modules to meet the start of the school year. Students moved in for Term 1 2023.
Whyalla Secondary College is a five-building campus for 1,500 students. We did all the roofing, with long sheets milled on site, and about 7,500 m2 of interlocking metal cladding made from coil painted for the project. The college was finished in December 2021 and took its first students at the start of 2022.
Findon Technical College's standing seam runs in varying panel widths across five Colorbond colours, backed by project-specific testing and engineering. The building received a 2025 AIA SA COLORBOND Award for Steel Architecture commendation.

Under the NCC a school (Class 9b) of three or more storeys is Type A construction and a two-storey school is Type B. Both need non-combustible external walls under clause C2D10. A single-storey school is Type C and that clause does not apply. On schools we have installed metal, aluminium, fibre cement (CFC) and GRC.
Yes. On Whyalla Secondary College we milled the long roof sheets on site rather than truck them from Adelaide.
