About
SA Construct is a commercial cladding, roofing and facade contractor based in Beverley, Adelaide, founded in 2011 by Jarrad Morgan. It designs, fabricates and installs building envelopes for South Australia's head contractors and has won Master Builders SA awards since 2014.
Jarrad started the company in April 2011 from a spare bedroom. He had a UniSA honours degree in Construction Management and one plan. "I just knew I wanted to be in the commercial building industry ... we would self-perform the work."
The first major job was the roofing, cladding and fit-out of CSIRO's ASKAP telescope site at Murchison in Western Australia.
The contract that changed the company's size was the new Royal Adelaide Hospital. An order of about $200,000 grew into what Jarrad describes as "a six- or seven-million-dollar job". In 2022, ANZ reported that the workshop had grown from 200 m2 to an 8,000 m2 facility in 2015, and that the company employed 170 people.
Jarrad was named Master Builders SA Young Master Builder of the Year in 2014. Master Builders SA has recognised the company many times since. The most recent awards are Building Structure Contractor, Commercial in 2026 for the Adelaide Aquatic Centre, and Master Trade Contractor of the Year, Commercial in 2025.

On Central Adelaide Apartments we cut most of the James Hardie ExoTec sheets on wall saws before they went to site. On the Adelaide Aquatic Centre the judges noted the "precise fabrication" and "custom templates" behind the curved Manta Ray entrance.
The Myer Centre on Rundle Mall, the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, the Mayfair Hotel, the Adelaide Tennis Centre and Adelaide Aquatic Centre, Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island, and schools across the state.
Our team runs from apprentices to senior project managers. Jarrad Morgan is Managing Director.
