Our Master Builders SA awards since 2014, newest first. Trade contractors are nominated by the builders they work for. The recent citations name the buildings, and the judges' words are quoted from Master Builders SA's published winners lists.
Building Structure Contractor, Commercial. Adelaide Aquatic Centre, North Adelaide, for Sarah Constructions. The judges cited "the complex aluminium facade package", which "required precise fabrication, custom templates ... including the two-way curved cladding to the Manta Ray entrance", delivered with "extensive night works".
Master Trade Contractor of the Year, Commercial. Two different builders nominated us, for projects in different commercial categories: the Sports Centre at Mercedes College for Kennett Builders, and the Henley Community Hub and Library for Mossop Construction + Interiors. The judges were impressed by our "ability to bring in, install, and provide a unique and diverse product within a tight time-frame".
Building Structure Contractor, Commercial. NEXTDC A1, Adelaide CBD, for Lendlease, architect Hames Sharley, opened September 2024. The facade and cladding package went in on a tight site bounded by two street corners, a public laneway and a neighbouring building. "The finished product was a credit to the installers as they managed to install each different panel and make it work."
